It was the outcome of the engineer Alberto Meda and the architect Paolo Rizzatto, a team who collaborated on several highly recognizable light fixtures for Luceplan. Italian design periodicals showed the “Lola” lamp in every kind of setting: the office, a historic home, or a modern apartment. As with so many previous examples, it is a fixture of exquisite form and style that is typical of the aptitude of Italian designers for lighting.
