Spa, Ivrea (TO).The first Italian portable typewriter and the inaugural prize winner of the Compasso d'Oro, the Lettera 22 won for its aesthetics and technical production (Celent, 1994). In 1959 the Illinois Institute of Technology at Chicago selected the Lettera 22 typewriter as the best industrial object from the previous 100 years.
